  1. We've got a truck where you can put a bunch of Igloo coolers where the engine used to be!
  2. OK, it's an official game, with rain threatening in the area.
  3. https://www.seinfeldmemes.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/kramer-fork-in-me-2.jpg>
  4. Harrelson was quite possibly the worst baseball announcer ever. I'd give the award to Steve Gelbs before him.
  5. Need this one. They should be able to push Harvey around like they did at Citi.
  6. Hannibal Lecter with a great catch in center to end the inning.
  7. Well, Peterson isn't fooling anybody here.
  8. Lucky the bullshit call didn't cost them there.
  9. Peraza has to stay over Drury. He can play 2nd, short, or 3rd, can run and has a bit of pop. They may be reluctant to send a pitcher down as they're facing a gazillion games over the next 30 days.
  10. As far as curves go, didn't Gary say he's only thrown two of them all year?
  11. Gonna be a steamy night in Balamer. Balls are going to fly out of the yard.
  12. Apparently there have been some insinuations about DeGrom, because I saw (SNY?) several Mets quoted as saying Jake doesn't use, or need to use, illegal substances. This links to a similar NY Post article: https://nypost.com/2021/06/07/jacob-degroms-teammates-defend-him-against-twitter-cheating-claim/https://nypost.com/2021/06/07/jacob-degroms-teammates-defend-him-against-twitter-cheating-claim/ Later Yeah, Jacob doesn't exactly need to improve his spin rates when he's throwing consistent 101 gas.
  13. Part of that great pitching has been the defense behind them. And McNeil and Conforto weren't hitting before they hit the IL. Davis was, but in a small sample size. Not that I don't want them back, but they may not have the immediate impact on the bottom line you would expect.
  14. I'm very happy with the split. I worry that the Mets will actually play worse when the regulars come back; their defense has been stellar with the irregulars. Nimmo and Davis and McNeil won't play the kind of D that Pillar, Villar and Peraza have been playing. Just a thought.
  15. Trevor May not really impressing here. One more baserunner and you pull the plug.
  16. Kinda glad I went outside to enjoy a nice warm late spring day, rather than obsess over what was written on a fan forum 10 years ago. Did some yard work and got a bit of a sunburn. Had Dairy Queen Blizzards for lunch. Discovered that a Christmas tree I planted 20 years ago is producing pine cones for the first time. Didn't think about 2011 once. And not worried that this might be used against me in 2031.
  17. I'll catch the recap in the morning. No sense losing Z's watching Lucchesi sleep with the fishes.
  18. Those 'kids today' are in their 70's now. I'd be happy with a split here.
  19. And of course, AlEX Trevino, AlEX Ochoa, AlEX Escobar, AlEX Torres and a multitude of others.
