My daughter, as an elementary school aged child, had a big crush on him. He spent some time in Williamsport and she got to see him in person. This is sad.

Good guy, never did anything embarrassing to the Mets, lots of good and fun memories. I wish him well but really he's too much of an X factor in my mind at this point. His misfortune to have a contract year come after two years basically rehabbing could have been a disaster to him but I guess he landed on his feet
