  1. Position player pitcher alert! In the seventh inning! Guess who rules. The Mets do!
  2. Interesting to hear Keith call Steve Bedrosian and Scott Garrelts the hardest throwers he's ever faced. I would have guessed about 100 guys before coming up with Bedrock, and I'd never have thought of Garrelts.
  3. Edgardo Alfonzo is the only Met with six, right?
  4. That guy who just missed that homer on the Party City Deck (or whatever it is), didn't that look like Kong?
  5. Should Nimmo be called back from first? Didn't he seem like he took that HbP with intent?
  6. He's certainly had some of his best periods in the past when his job was on the line. Is Kong at the game today? I think I saw Kongwife on TV
  7. So, maybe we haven't seen all there is to see from Wilmer Flores.
  8. Six innings at least. I'm just tuning in. Funny to see the canary-colored compression sleeve on Ren Rivera
  9. Hey, batmagadan! Welcome aboard, nu guy!
  10. He really seemed to be sober and just a little broken facing the media. But he seemed to be enjoying himself during the game in the bullpen. Pretty dramatic that he's being consigned to the bullpen due to his lack of mobility.
  11. Twitter users are pissed that De Aza didn't become DFAza
  12. If we want a sweep, we've got to go through Jon Lester (9-3, 2.03) But the Mets counter with some guy named Syndergaard. Hell yeah, we want a sweep.
  13. I stand. I clap.
  14. Uno mas. And then fireworks.
  15. The low strike strikes again. Two more.
  16. A lot of folks giving the home plate ump an earful over his low strike zone tonight.
  17. Wow. Somebody just passed Darren and Jeremy and Steve became second in our All-Time Reed Rankings. You hear those footsteps, Rick?
  18. Whiffing catchers left and right. Four more to go.
  19. Grown-up fastball, though. Yikes.
  20. Well, I'd certainly like some. The Edwards, Jr. guy the Cubs are bringing in to face Cspy looks about 15.
  21. Phew. Six more outs. But hopefully none of them will be Bryant.
  22. C'mon, Mets. Seven more outs.
  23. Lugo did. READ THE ROSTER THREAD, YOU MOKES!
