Why did they just use a cut of Darling interviewing Dykstra? Why would the the organization (and Darling — who is implicitly ripped when Dykstra goes after Johnson for starting him in game seven of the '88 NLCS) carrying water for this guy?

As for his first name, Amed, as he told The News Press in Fort Myers, Fla., in May, Rosario said his father gave him that name because it came from an Iranian soap-opera character his father enjoyed watching. That was going to be my second guess.
