While Tyler Pill may have appeared for the Mets in Spring Training (I'm not sure of that alleged fact), he was never officially in camp, so we never had a thread for him. Get your Pill predictions in now. [tweet:2a9bxrt3] [/tweet:2a9bxrt3] [tweet:2a9bxrt3] [/tweet:2a9bxrt3]

It's not masochism if it still makes you angry. You haven't learned to love the pain yet.

We can call him Terry's Little Helper.

He's certain nailed the Warthen slider this season. It's a quality pitch. But right now, it's just another pitch he's not controlling well. He got Myers on some fastballs up, and that was perhaps his best moment. But mostly, everything is down and darting to the left. You've got to be willing to pitch up a little, if only to set up the breaking stuff down that you're featuring. (Unless you're a sinkerballer or something.)

This is in many threads now. Not sure. My question is [fimg=100:1dxn7m4x]https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/61Ab-td5fbL._SY355_.jpg[/fimg:1dxn7m4x] I'm guessing Matz will return the next time this slot in the rotation comes around. But it's Pill the next time a new arm is needed.

Run scores, two out, Reyes the tying run on base. Lookin' to steal?

I'll take the base hit. Your move, Reyes.

Time for Confortodemption.

Well, Goeddel's put up the same numbers as Montero, but in AAA. The answer may not be Montero, but it's no more likely to be Goeddel.

Ah, fartbots.

Cabrera is our next-to-last guy on the bench. Only René left.

That run was a long time comin'.

Is Syndergaard pitching for the Pads now?

Blurgh. If Bruce was Springsteen that swing was Lucky Town.

They get the tying runs on base every inning, but nothing so far. Let's change that Bruce.

Sheesh, Mickey.

Let's hope Conforto doesn't keep whiffing. We're really sunk without his bat.

Watching deGrom squeeze a bump in his face — that's entertainment, baby.

And they go to Rivera instead but he does a Grandy and whiffs.

Chase looks good out there. Maybe we should play Travis at short.
