That's a night for Matz. That's a guy on this team who can pitch, ashie.

Weird thing I dislike about Marlins Park: The power boxes behind the mounds in the bullpen, covered with that neon green facing.

Man, if d'Arnaud is getting started, this lineup can be soooo good.

Look at this fanstastic Shea-rocking crowd there to celebrate with AY in the midst of a miserable season. [youtube:2a0ma1g5]L-AteiOx3tc[/youtube:2a0ma1g5]

We're not tacking on, man. We should be tacking on.

Angry Asdrubal can also turn two from the keystone.

Big dude behind home plate trying to distract Matz with that stupid arm-twirling thing. Hey, big dude, that's our stupid thing.

I just tuned in and saw Matz's scratchy beard and thought, "Oh, no, Blevins is in already."

If there's anything nature abhors as much as a vacuum, it's a six-man rotation. Nature doesn't appear to be particularly keen on the five-man rotation, either. Man, those humiliating 9-3 putouts are always a danger in the Babe Ruth Prep League.

So young. So Anthony Young.

WoW

We'll take the next two. Count on it.

I know we all love Rivera and all, but I go with Conforto 10 times out of 10 here.

d'Arnaud, take, you fool.

Or rip one into right. That's good too.

You tired Prado out, now bunt one.

Show some pride here, men. You're big league ballplayers.

But Ronnie does have the whiff of Old Man Yelling At the Moon there. I tend to think that the training staff and the weight training staff are separate entitles and that Barwis and Clarke don't answer directly to Ramirez and Chicklo (nor vice versa) as much as it might make sense if they did.

I think too much is being made of the Flores non-play. He wasn't getting to that ball unless he was descended from both Brooks Robinson and Reed Richards.

Throw strikes when they're bunting, man.

Not too many other seasons (or planets) where that is conceivably a double play.
