I went with the riot. it's I like the mix of b/w and color photos at a time when color was transitioning to the standard, but still too expensive to use all through the issue.

I'm not interested in hearing how you're singled out again. Please don't.

Your statement is just clearly not true. Beyond that, you've hijacked yet another thread.

Lolich, Cone, Randy Jones, Scott Erickson, James Baldwin, and Candeleria round out the rotation. Candy pitched for a lot of years after being a lump for the Mets. He's like Tony Fernandez in that regard. He looked done and done. Sandy Alomar Jr. was almost never particularly good. Was a deserving rookie of the year and that award and his family name secured a brand that got him into a lot of All Star games, but he almost never deserved it on his play.

Mays had excellent numbers in 1972. Probably as good as anybody his age to that point. And he was more hurt than lousy in 1973. He was Mays. But the lineup to me is: C: Berra 1b: Vaughn 2b: Alomar 3b: Boyer ss: Bowa lf: Bautista? cf: Snider rf: Sheffield? Hidalgo? Brooks?

Not yet, but probably soon. July 10 is the Eastern League All Star Game, and I imagine he'll be up after that at the latest. He just pulled pulled into the Eastern League homerun league, sitting not only (just) ahead of Jeff McNeil, but ahead of Vladimir Guerrero, Jr. and Cavan Biggio as well. NcNeil's got the higher OPS and versatility and is 2 1/2 years older, so I'd expect him to get bumped up first. Maybe even directly to the bigs.

Nelmerson doesn't fuck around. [tweet:1pkouwns] [/tweet:1pkouwns]

Reports say he's likely looking down the barrell of Tommy John surgery.

I'm certain that if he was pinned down, Alderson could defend Reyes' far lower stat line as more redeemable than Gonzalez', citing advanced metrics like chase rate and exit velocity and BABIP. He's certainly still on the clock.

I'm happy to report that for the first time in seemingly weeks and weeks, the Mets functionally have six infielders and five outfielders. It's going to be OK. Or not. As for Smith, good move. Either he's part of the turnaround, going forward, or he gets the experience to prove he belongs or doesn't belong next season. Clears room in Vegas for a second-half promotion for Alonso, too. I'm not surprised at all. As for Reyes, I'm not sure it's relevant, but a slowing bat is not what's wrong with his game.

Time to take a day off and go beat down on a division rival ahead of the Mets in the standings. [crossout:3pu6q8r0]Vargas[/crossout:3pu6q8r0] Wheelie is scheduled to match up with Mike Foltynewicz. [youtube:3pu6q8r0]tyyq_Mye6so[/youtube:3pu6q8r0]

Blowing both the putout and the assist makes it a brain shart.

Gsellie stays in to face Judge? And he gets a double play ball! But no double play!

Tack on, tack on, Mets, Mets Mets! I'm hearing a seventh inning stretch going on ... without "Piano Man" ... and I'm feeling there's no way they can lose.

He believes in pitch counts. With Lugo having pitched out of the pen until recently, he believes in a pretty modest limit on the pitch count. I got the idea that he already used Lugo an inning more than he wanted. But I'd ride that pony as far as I could.

Giancarlo. Sit. Down.
