Yeah, this is nearly 15 months, but that's not quite Fregosi->Puig territory, to say nothing of The Gardenhire-Ashford Gap (which sounds like a chapter in Ken Burns' Civil War that featured particularly engaging essaying from Shelby Foote.

You have to admit that "I don't, I have no issues with you. I just think you're being extremely obstinate," is pretty fucking hilarious. I mean, I don't want anyone to say that about me, but if they're going to, that's the way to do it.

I can't even figure the rosters out. By my count, they have 43 guys on the 40-man roster, but only 14 guys in the 20-man available extra players pool.

It's always a point of pride to stick with a blowout until the bitter end, but man, it felt like the park was empty in the last few innings tonight. I know that once upon a time, something good must've happened to the Mets during a regular season Sunday night game broadcast on ESPN. Probably more than once. But it feels like no, never has any such thing occurred.

I feel like that's some sort of record of time passing without a third base debut.

It's always a wonder when someone posts their poo online but tells anybody responding to mind their own business. I can whoop up a ceetar forum to chat only with the folks he likes. It's no trouble.

And you are 12 points richer! ZESTIER! #12 RP Ken Giles You are no man! You are a MACHINE! You are a machine that knows his relief pitchers of the twenty-teens, and you just got 15 points! This might matter to you, if you weren't a machine! In fact, you just machined your way through the 400-point ceiling!! Don mattingly has to be one of the managers, right? Mgr 9. Not only is this not true (Mattingly is 20th), I'm actually going to feel GOOD about docking you three points, because you gave me one of those squishy answer-framed-as-a-question answers! IGT 7/25/2020: ATL @ NYM — Let’s Do This Again

Edgy MD wrote: Yeah, going to Diaz on consecutive days has to be scratched from the list of good ideas. I'll say this, having now seen the AB (after initially listening on the radio), Diaz didn't, like, miss. He wasn't all over the place in that inning, or that confrontation. He made a decent pitch, and Ozuna sold out to tag it, and he did. It will happen. This may feel the same as last year, but really, it doesn't feel the same as last year, y'know? That said, let's not do this again. I didn't see it that way. He was getting wild leading up to that pitch. The team has four guys with established records of closing. Let's not get carried away with trying to establish any one of them as the hero. That's just waiting for trouble, putting all your mangoes in one crate, as it were. Let's win 40 of 60 and if there are 40 saves to be had in there, let's get them 10 apiece, or something. -
Listen, I may sound like an idiot but check this out: Person, woman, man, camera, TV. I did that by myself. Yes, you may feel free to be astonished.
