    Katie Nolan adds nothing to the broadcast. The sound level for the crowd is too high and the one for the announcers is too low (not that they are saying anything important).

    Keith isn't ducking this series as he has a STL WS Anniversary event this weekend. He's ducking next weekend's series in PHI (although with Ronnie working for TBS on Tuesday we've had more of Keith on the weekdays and Ronnie on the weekends). No Kyle Schwarber who left last night's game with an injury. Stephen Nelson, Cliff Floyd, Heidi Watney, and Katie Nolan are your Apple+ announcers.

(Griffey Jr.'s famous catch isn't there.)     Syndergaard can kiss my ass. I bet that the spotlight's glare wouldn't have been as bright if the Mets matched the LAA's $1M. He begged for the QO and took the money to go to a second-rate team and he failed and now he's on an inferior team in a City that wishes it was New York. I hope that the Mets light him up often.

    We saw the Reds for 3 days and now all of America gets to as MLB brings us the great "Field of Dreams" matchup between the Cubs and the Reds!

    The roster increases to 28 on September 1 (that date remained constant despite the season moving back for another 3 days). Just two more players so I'm thinking that one will be a catcher and one will either be a pitcher or "a fast guy".

    Spencer Strider took his loss like a professional even though he is a rookie, saluted the Mets, said that he is sorry he let his teammates down, and he hopes to pitch better the next time he faces the Mets. JUST KIDDING!

    The SNY Director has been shit. Too many quick cuts, way too many crowd shots (which make me crazy as the crowd is watching the game I want to watch), the "24" triple box, shots focusing on the wrong thing such as showing the pitcher that gave up the Mets HR instead of the Met, and tonight, showing the victim of a Scherzer K instead of Scherzer stomping around in triumph. SNY's announcers: the best. SNY's Director: shit.
