I couldn't dislike Pelfrey anymore than I do. The MFP fan next door just materialized. Not a peep out of her at 4-0 but as soon as double-flap got his hit, she came by.
I don't understand it either. If Paulino has a broken toe and Nickeas is up, then DL Paulino and get a bat. If Hairston is hurt, get a bat. Today's game might go 20 innings.
I'm almost numb to the pain of this awful stretch but the MFP fan in the next office just reminded me that it's a day game and asked if I'm feeling bad about how the Mets are playing. So how about winning one so I can shut her up.

I had something to do tonight so I missed the whole game. Jealous? I think my head would have exploded when all 3 batters in the same inning got called out on strikes.
mlb.tv kept the audio on for an extra few seconds so we heard Gary begin a second with "The worst...." I wonder how he finished it? "The worst stretch of Mets baseball I've ever seen"?
John Cougar Lunchbucket wrote: shit_ass bunt by Thole there ruined the inning. The guy gives up two shots so swing away! Stupid crap. Either Terry is becoming Jerry or Thole did that on his own and if so, he's an idiot.
I know that these guys aren't robots and that throwing a baseball 60 feet, 6 inches and trying to place it inside a rectangle isn't easy, but having said that how do you walk pieces of crap like Morgan and Kotsay?
Holy crap! I'm glad I kept the game on (with the sound off). Pagan's HR made me think of July 3, 2010 in DC when F. Rodriguez coughed up the game. This feels so much better. BTW, did you notice that while Jose was beaming, Willie Harris was stoic?
He's a Boras guy and the Nationals love Boras clients. If he goes to DC, with Strasburg and Harper coming soon, the Nationals will be a force before the Mets are. Lets hope he goes anywhere else.
Double by Tejada, Capuano up which means a chance for a PH to get the Mets closer. No, says Terry. Capuano rewards Terry by giving up another HR. I wonder if Sandy tried to get rid of Capuano and was turned down. This should be his last Mets start. Put him the BP. Waive him. I don't care.
