I was a big "Home & Away" fan growing up in Ireland(I was young), Ralph is still on that show I hear , I remember another one with great looking Sheila's, Summer Bay I think it was.

WOW, what a movie, the ending was what exactly?, was Ed Tom Bell in reflecting on his life and dreams basically saying that he is ready to join his Dad in death and accepting that some evil will never be defeated? The scene with Barry Corbin is key to the whole thing I feel, or at least how I read it. What are your thoughts Ted? Vic have you seen this movie, thoughts.

How did I miss this thread? SteveJKaraoke with Lisa Loeb sans pants doing karaoke would be a riot. Barry Zito has a ERA +14 this spring, just to compare with Maine.

Because I only saw four closers for the Mets I chose one of them, perhaps I should have just picked Jesse and be done with it, but out of the four I saw I would choose Benitez to be my closer in game seven followed next by Franco.

A expected reaction to Benitez, I figure if we are at game seven then he would have closed the door a few times.

In my years of following the Mets I have known four real closers, Franco, Benitez , Looper and Wagner. I voted Benitez.

I enjoyed this movie up to and through the scene where Neville follows Sam into the dark building , thought that scene was intense, one thing, were the Zombies have a circle jerk right there? After that it was terrible, imagining NYC like that was probably the best part of the movie for me.

Which is exactly what Hernandez was pointing out " we know he can bunt, Luis has great bat control, he needs to be swinging"....or words like that. Did he get the bunt down, I remember his first two tries were ugly.

Watched the game and yeah it was good to see Randolph manage like it was a real game, even had Castillo try and bunt a guy over in the first inning. Keith didn't like that though. Santana looked great, Luke Scott will be happy not to see him again I would think, not worried about Santana's second half last season, not yet anyway.
