Reporting in Sir. Working today but with the 4:34 kick off I'm hoping to see most of the game, with all the introductions the game might not even start at that time, I'm hoping. Go Mets.

John Cougar Lunchbucket wrote: Odalis Perez is the opening day starter for Washington. How about that? Absolutly shocked to see him as the opening day starter, pitched pretty good for five innings, MLB.com sporting a new look for the new season.

I watched it all, they mentioned that the rain kept most of the people away from the game, best part was Willie talking about what it meant to not just him but the club to visit The National Civil Rights Museum , they showed them getting a tour. Frank Robinson was on and looked great, Morgan was in mid-season form.

Obviously he was presenting a copy of Mets by the Numbers to the Library. I saw it on C-SPAN.

Mississippi Braves Manager is the one lobbing grenade's. At the 1:44 mark...
-
This claims to be the full version, no lobbing the rosin bag here though, I do remember him doing that, I think. The stadium music is brilliant.
-
Pelfrey is not even disappointing anymore to me . Adis mate.
-
A meaningful game in Spring Training for the Mets, at least in regards to the fifth starter.
-
They did a one hour show recently for that place, or maybe that was the first hour that was on.
-
It's only a half hour long, at the very least any documentary should be one hour long.
-
I liked it when I first saw it, a bit of a cult classic I think now.
-
Well I thought that maybe he'd be in trouble with the Law for attempting to extort someone.
-
That was brilliant, some great stuff in there , I wonder if there will be any fallout regarding the claim that Canseco and or people close to him tries to extort money from Maglio Ordonez to keep his name out of "Vindicated".

In his pomp = In his prime.

I've wondered this myself. ] I tried to picture Jose writing his book and his movie. Hunched over, his broad shoulders casting a shadow across his desk like a raptor's wings, his brow furrowed in concentration, his massively muscled body tensed in anticipation of that torrent of words about to flow out of him like urine for one of the many steroid tests he'd been forced to take during his baseball career This is hilarious, this guy is killing Canseco.
-
It was great to hear Ralph in his pomp , I've really only known him with his voice not at it's best so that was a treat for me.
-
Will they bring the fifth starter north to start the season, if not then who. When do rosters have to be set, like is there a specific date and time they have to submitted before? Do they even have to be submitted?

I read this today, great article and some great memories from Myers.

Nights at Shea when Oliver Perez pitches will never be the same.
-
This chap will no doubt be back at Shea to cheer for Lastings Milledge, not at all happy that he got traded.
-
Funny quote, got to say I'm getting jaded with Red Sox fans acting like they are the " real true" fans out there , when the Rugby World Cup was in New Zealand back in 2004 or 5 I got up at 4am to watch Ireland play, didn't make me a great fan just made me tired.
-
Ever since Jose Reyes posed in GQ he has an avid following at Shea. Look for the " Reyes Triplets" at Shea this season.

AG/DC wrote: Does Boras get his cut of the deal or not? Isn't that all that matters? I read when all this went down that Boras got his cut, 15%?

From the Daily News yesterday.... ] "You're with the team now, so you're trying to fit in and everything," said Register. "But then, one snap or one second later, I could be with a different team. So it's been good, but it's definitely been a weird situation."
