  1. Liked both but Raiders is the winner for me.
  2. Sounds like it has a "Waking Ned Devine " vibe to it?
  3. Finally I watched this today on HBO in HD. Maybe because I have heard so much about it down the years I was expecting something more , it was watchable and certainly darker that I expected . I also thought Drew Barrymore was the main star and was surprised to see it was the boy. 3.5 stars from me .
  4. Charles Grodin , Mets fan and friend of Bobby Valentine not getting a lot of respect.
  5. John Cougar Lunchbucket wrote: Blues Brothers bored me to death Me too , i hated it then and can't stand it now.
  6. Die Hard for me , Alan Rickman was great in that movie.
  7. I was going to ask whatever became of Peter Weller but he's doing just fine. From his Wiki bio Weller holds a Masters Degree in Roman and Renaissance art, and is an occasional lecturer at Syracuse University on the subjects of Hollywood and the Roman Empire.[citation needed] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_Weller
  8. Out of the polls so far this was the one that I struggled with, I remember enjoying both these movies.
  9. No problem , you're still my Netflix BFF.
  10. I was really looking forward to this but found myself very bored forty minutes in , disappointing.
  11. No , but I have now added it to my queue.
  12. Added to the queue .
  13. A Boy Named Seo wrote: Yeah, I'm stoopid about movies, so it's been good makin' movie pals. A little embarrassing when I queue up stupid shit, but my friends won't judge me, right? Right? I'm saying nothing about "P.S. I love you"
  14. I clicked the link and got this - Error verifying the customer. Did you copy the URL correctly? I can be added here http://www.netflix.com/BeMyFriend/P8ot3TDdgolHMvblvRJ5
  15. Queued it ....looks good. Anyone else here have Netflix , Seo and I give each other recommendations , kind of cool actually. you add friends through email.
  16. Congrats to smg , that was a great race between you two , back and forth all the way. I was mediocre................. .again.
  17. Moved tot he top of my Queue.
  18. Valadius wrote: Brett is well-known for his shenanigans. It's a fact that he slept with Lindsay Lohan. It's also a fact that when he was dating Serena Williams, he brought her to Shabbat dinner at my aunt's parents' house. Any chance of you getting some scraps of Bretts table?
  19. You're Cuban?
  20. Guillermo del Toro produces this chiller , Laura returns with her husband and son Simn and buys the orphanage where she spent some of her youth , her plans are to fix it up and take in disabled children. Soon Simn is acting up and talking about his " friends" that play with him , when Simn goes missing what follows I found disturbing and transfixing as Laura is convinced that things that happened at the orphanage in the past are responsible for what is happening now. Is she going crazy , can she separate reality from her imagination? I wouldn't class this as a horror but I was on the edge of my seat throughout the movie and the payoff was worth it.
  21. The first several minutes of the movie with no dialog is riveting .
  22. Added to my Netflix queue .
  23. We have a new leader.
  24. I remember loving it and I think I was pretty sure that there were people like him in America.
