  1. Just so funny to read this stuff.
  2. She has you worn out , she's riding you like Jerry is riding David .
  3. A Boy Named Seo wrote: I popped in Game 1 of the WS for some reason and my VCR immediately ate it and I threw them all out. Never saw Donnie Brasco. Your VCR didn't want to replay the sixth inning again so it spit it out.
  4. I should note that I didn't fall of the wagon or anything......just waiting for the Mets is all.
  5. Strange things happen when the Mets are out West . I tonight ended up watching "Step Up 2 The Streets". A crap story told a million times about pursuing your dreams and finding yourself and love along the way. Full of the usual teen angst but the dance scenes are amazing. Set in Edgy's neighborhood it follows troubled teen Andie as she tries to juggle her desire for her 410 Crew and the dance in "The Streets" and her enrollment in MSA.....Maryland School of Dance.... Seriously rent this.....
  6. I'm pulling out guys , I just can't commit to the draft and other years when it got auto drafted for me my team sucked, sorry.
  7. I knew someone would pick up on Ralph..
  8. Can't let the fact that Fman has a Zune slide by without mention , I have only ever met one person who has one. What's she like?
  9. Thanks Metfairy.
  10. Is it more than just visuals though? , I've not read the novel so would that make a difference in my enjoyment?
  11. In again...
  12. I'm surprised the music savvy crowd here have not seen this, Edgy queue this now on Netflix please.
  13. metirish wrote: Can't wait to see it, hopefully in the next few days. Yeah well saw it tonight 16 months later, agree with most of what is said here already....liked the movie a lot .
  14. Biopic tracing the life of Ian Curtis from lowly civil servant to singer of the Joy Division , from teenage husband to neglectful husband and father as Joy Division get going . Excellent performance form Sam Riley as Curtis and Samantha Morton as the long suffering loving wife .
  15. Edgy DC wrote: Well, I sort of said the same thing. Of course, she's not insane. Except the marrying-me part of things, she's been perfectly rational. Will your new bride be rational when baseball season starts? I like this Star Trek movie , funny that I don't like Star Wars but I do like Star trek.
  16. Saw this tonight , liked the first one and liked this one.....Del Toro's imagination knows no bounds.
  17. "That's for John Lennon, you yankee fuckin' ****!" A totally out of left field quote but so fuckin funny , we watched this tonight , liked it a lot . Great performances here form Farrell and Gleeson , also when Ralph Fiennes showed up I thought he was great , helped tie all that dark humor together.
  18. We finally saw this tonight , after an hour I said to my wife that it was dragging but overall I enjoyed it. I think it was at least forty minutes to an hour too long.
  19. I have it in my queue , I like Gleeson a lot.
  20. Synopsis: In the highly anticipated new installment of The Terminator film franchise, set in post-apocalyptic 2018, Christian Bale stars as John Connor, the man fated to lead the human resistance against Skynet and its army of Terminators. But the future Connor was raised to believe in is altered in part by the appearance of Marcus Wright (Sam Worthington), a stranger whose last memory is of being on death row. Connor must decide whether Marcus has been sent from the future, or rescued from the past. As Skynet prepares its final onslaught, Connor and Marcus both embark on an odyssey that takes them into the heart of Skynet's operations, where they uncover the terrible secret behind the possible annihilation of mankind.
  21. Most overused phrase in this competition It's not even close.
  22. Benjamin Grimm wrote: Back to the Future. It's not a great movie, but I didn't like Blues Brothers at all. Ditto
  23. Die Hard
  24. Sorry but I have never liked any of the Star Wars movies.
  25. I'll be looking out for you on "Ice road Truckers" , Hugh is looking for drivers.
