  1. Amazing information, thanks , I wonder what Sandy thought of it all
  2. [TWEET] [/TWEET] This blows my mind , apparently Jim Morrison was a long time resident too

  4. [TWEET] [/TWEET] I have absolutely no issues with what Stearns is saying here , predictably Mets Twitter is in meltdown mode
  5. I would agree with that, it's the kind of movie critics seem to love though, but I do love Giamatti in most anything, the kid for his first movie was amazing
  6. No one has watched this great movie?
  7. Shiela E probably rightly sounded bitter , yes, the Geldof part was good stuff, I really liked Stevie Wonder working with Dylan , you could see the gratitude from Dylan in that bit. I never really thought about the invitations being a closed shop, but that is interesting
  8. The second quarter dragged a little ,but once they got the artists into the studio it really got going. The Bob Dylan bit was really good, Waylon Jennings " good Ole county boy" bit was something I didn't know. Overall I thought it was a good look back at something that was a one-off.
  9. Just finished this , enjoyed it. Lionel Richie was great at telling the stories.
  10. Just watched it, up early, I certainly liked it , didn't particularly love it , great performances though
  11. Two I saw recently that were excellent and thought provoking Aftersun - Paramount Plus, Showtime Past Lives - Paramount Plus,Showtime
  12. [TWEET] [/TWEET] Jimy looks like baseball, RIP
  13. I haven't seen this, but is the controversy around the lack of big Oscar noms warranted?
  14. Watched this Saturday night, brilliantly acted , I enjoyed it, satisfying ending
  15. Very good reading, should be very interesting, if Pete starts hot or cold , and indeed if the team going great or not into the summer
  16. A profoundly remarkable movie about the Uruguayan plane crash in the Andes mountains , I thought this was very well done Spanish language with subtitles
  17. Saw this last year , fascinating to find out about the synthetic diamond industry, and how hard it is to distinguish , granted I knew nothing about this industry, so I found this a really good watch
  18. Looking forward to watching this, Giamatti was interviewed yesterday on NPR Fresh Air and he and the host talked about how this character and his character from Sideways are similar, same director too, always a good interview too.
  19. Please watch this mind bending movie, this required a second watch, great idea , execution might be the issue Paul Mescal Saoirse Ronan Aaron Pierre
  20. Indeed the Def Leppard concert never happened , , Rory Kinnear is great iin most anything. I certainly wouldn't watch it again
  21. Just finished it, hard not to like the story and plenty of actors in it that regularly are in movies from the UK , and Bank of Dave is still going strong Obviously filmed when Sean Dyche was still Burnley manager, now manages Everton
  22. It's on my list now , will watch over the weekend, looks good
  23. A classic, watched it a few years ago with my son , I hadn't seen it in years, definitely enjoyed it
  24. Vic Sage review incoming hopefully
  25. Right, no reason to root for him, or anyone really, the assassin sent to Dominican wasn't that good either at his/her job.
