  1. True dat...Heilman is back. 5-4 Houston at the stretch.
  2. Mets 5th: LoDuca doubles again, Delgado walks, Floyd singles. 5-4 Stros after 5.
  3. Stros add another on a single by Mookie's kid. Final line on Pelfrey: 4.1 IP, 6 H, 5 ER, 1 BB, 3 K, 2 HBP Houston up 5-3 as we go to the bottom of 5.
  4. Berkman doubles. Stros now lead 4-3. Pelfrey looked great his first time through the lineup, but his weakness is exposed the second and third times through. His changeup and curve are not hitting the strike zone. Probably going to be the knock on Mike for a while...until he can command those secondary pitches to compliment his heat, he's going to get beat the 2nd and 3rd time through batting orders.
  5. Tie game. Oswalt singles, Taveras doubles, Lamb singles. Still no outs in the Astros 5th.
  6. Stros leave 'em loaded themselves in the top of the 4th.
  7. Mets leave 'em loaded in the 3rd as Valentin pops out.

Sure, but more than the difference in the score, the catch did keep the shutout intact. With a rookie pitcher on the mound (and one that gave up 3 long balls his last time out), the importance of keeping that ball in the park cannot be overlooked as how it may have affected Maine's performance.
  9. Astros get a run in the 3rd on a HBP, a hit and run that worked and a sac fly. 3-1 Good Guys moving to the bottom of 3.
  10. Apparently he has TMJ and his dentist wants him to wear it while he plays. It's working as he get the Stros 1-2-3 in the 2nd with another K.
  11. Mets 1st: LoDuca rakes a double...Beltran walks...Delgado goes KABOOM! Mets up 3-0 early.
  12. Pelfrey with a 1-2-3 first...2 Ks.
  13. Pelfrey is wearing a mouth guard? Strange.

  16. Another win for the Mets. Looking good, let's get that sweep tomorrow with the rookie.
  17. Another pitching change...here comes Russ Springer with Franco due up.
  18. Hehe...He said dooky.
  19. C'mon...it's FOX. Where would they be with out rehashing the same old stories for uninformed fans?
  20. Damn...Ducky! 7IP, 4H, 3ER, 2BB, 8K is is pretty good. If he's the worst we have...not much to complain about today.
  21. El Duque dealing now...7 or 8 in a row. He's fanned 7 through 6 IP. If he doesn't come to bat he'll go 7 today.
  22. El Duque outlasts Backe...didn't see that one coming.
  23. X is underrated. I thought he played great last night in the 8 hole...cleared the pitcher twice. Long live X.
