Worst Met throwing arm I ever saw. Worse even than Mazzilli. That's a good topic for a thread. Did Mazzilli's get worse as his career progressed, or was it just consistently weak?

I try to stay away from working with photos on the smartphone. Hosting. Posting them here. It's a nightmare, if it even works. Same with posting links to articles.
  4. It's probably a head-shot, something like from the neck up, right?
  5. =batmagadanleadoff post_id=49455 time=1604191076 user_id=68] I use Flickr. The free version. It's gotten steadily worse over the years. Ads and more ads when there used to be none. And constant reminders to upgrade to a paid version to eliminate the ads, which, to tell you the truth, aren't much of a nuisance. Limits on the number of photos you can host when there used to be no limit when I first began using it. But it gets the job done. It works if all you wanna do is host a photo to post to a web site. Like this one. That's all I use it for. There are a host of other options and features to interact with other users but I have no idea about that or how it works.

  11. Screw the photoshopped pictures. Just give us the champagne. Regular or Giant-sized? [FIMg=666]https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CR7-zzQWoAAhs0m.jpg[/FIMG]
  12. =MFS62 post_id=49386 time=1604088431 user_id=60] I used to work with a guy whose dad was a member of the same Country Club as the Wilpons, and frequently played tennis with Jeff. He said Jeff was a jerk (Among other not so nice things).

  21. Mutts to Sell Mets is pretty funny. Johnny Lunchbucket wrote: I literally LOLed at the MUTTS headline That's my favorite headline. I may have to put aside aesthetics for that cover. OE -- I see that that cover lost a vote. Someone voted for it and then took it back.

  25. I can easily imagine a zillion things. The sky's the limit with an owner who can outspend the Dodgers and the Yankees. I can see Rosario starting at short in 2021, or backing up Gimenez, or platooning with Gimenez, or having his playing time severely reduced or gone to make way for Lindnor. And that's just Rosario. "Guggenheim Partners bought the Dodgers for $2.15 billion in May 2012; the team has won the NL West in every full season since then.... L.A. has ranked in the top five in payroll ever since, leading the league from 2014-2017. The Dodgers have spent more money than any other team since 2012. That's a major reason why they've won more games [than any other team in that period]. (The Yankees have spent the second-most; they have the second best record.) https://theathletic.com/2168128/2020/10/29/mets-francisco-lindor-offseason/https://theathletic.com/2168128/2020/10/29/mets-francisco-lindor-offseason/
