Dae Ho Lee. Not about speed and quickness. Not to rain on the "Playing baseball the right way" parade, but am I the only one that thinks the Asian players lack fundamentals? At least at the plate anyway. They all step in the bucket, they all overswing, and some of their leg kicks are ridiculous. There isn't a short, compact swing on either team.

That's right. Lincecum. He's the one that got me started on my tirade last night. When we had to go to Grabow in the middle innings and then they played the Lincecum video game commercial.

I seem to be the only one I know that's a little pissed that we didn't have a deeper pitching staff. I mean, when Oswalt gets knocked around, we don't have anyone better than Josh Grabow? Where's CC Sabathia and AJ Burnett? Or Brad Lidge? Or Cole Hamels coming in to face a lefty.

The highlights I saw this morning included Jeter failing to reach a ground ball in the 9th that made it a 2 run lead in the first place.

I feel like Boston did something similar to this with Babe Ruth's piano.

There is no one way. Depends on the circumstances. Current Mets games: If I don't know the score, then I check that first. Duh. Then I check to see how Delgado did. For the last few years, I've felt the fate of our offense was greatly dependent on Delgado going back to form. Then I check the starters stats, and as JCL mentioned, who has numbers in every box. Old Mets Games: I hardly look at the numbers. Just scan the lineup and see what sort of team we were fielding.
