I have been watching with little Solo. I DVRd a bunch and we've been plowing through. Some of the questions are quite challenging, and what makes it more challenging is that every "inning" has one question with multiple answers. So a question might be, "Name every player to have a 40 HR season in the 1980s"...it might be easy to get a couple, but to get all of them, with only five seconds to think on each? That's tough.
I like both of Grimm's. Particularly the first, not only for his looking cold in lack-of-winter clothing. But it looks like the three soldiers on the right are staring directly at him.

Some of those old stadiums are [crossout]really tough[/crossout] basically impossible. Totally struck out on Jarry Park and Griffith Stadium which I thought I would've been able to get. I had a couple of those too. I got lucky that one response got me three correct answers. The two largest #s I missed I think were County Stadium (poor spelling) and Cleveland Stadium. Took me many, many, many guesses before I got Dodger Stadium.
World Champs used 5 starters in the World Series, and the guys who started games 1 and 2 did not make second starts. I would guess the last team to use 5 different starters in one WS?

The 48-year-old Lorenz was arrested early Wednesday morning. Police say they found him slumped over the wheel of his car and when they woke him up he drove away slowly and nearly hit a utility pole. Officers say his speech was slurred and he smelled of alcohol. Lorenz hosts pregame and postgame shows for the New York Yankees and New Jersey Nets. He was arraigned Wednesday at Norwalk Superior Court and his case was continued to Feb. 29. There's no phone listing for Lorenz and it's not clear if he has a lawyer. A Yes Network spokesman declined to comment. Big surprise to me that he is only 48. Seems much older.

A little birdie (actually a pretty solid source) relays the following: - Coleman not being considered. - Bit of a disagreement between the team and the station on who to go with. - Team likes idea of Duquette. - Keep an eye on Josh Lewin.

Eddie C or Sample for me. I don't understand how Carlin keeps getting broadcasting gigs. I guess spending 5 years as Francesa's lickspittle gets you far.
Can't really argue with Batmag selections. Sentimentally I'd like to see Tug in there. It also floors me a bit that Wally Backman could be the Mets second-best-ever second basemen, but no one else immediately springs to mind.
