    The Boston Red Sox have suspended All-Star outfielder Jarren Duran two games after he uttered an anti-gay slur at a fan during Sunday's game against the Astros. The NESN broadcast picked up Duran calling a heckling fan a “f–king f—-t” during the bottom of the sixth inning at Fenway Park. The 27-year-old's salary from the two games will be donated to PFLAG (Federation of Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays), the team said. Later

    Baseball killed some radio stars. My wife is really upset about that. She's been getting here news there for 50 years, and always has it on in the car. And since my cable company doesn't carry SNY, it is my link to the Mets. The alternative(for news), 1010 WINS doesn't have a strong enough signal for us to get it up here all the time. Later

    Last week, they were third from the last in batting with RISP. Not sure how much that changed in the last series since they didn't get that many runners into scoring position. But that is the symptom most obvious. (and painful to watch) I'm not sure they have the cure. Later

    I read an article about Adam a few days ago in which he cautioned the Mets not to release him.
