I like "Hold the Line" .... It's got that plinky piano, the heavy-metal guitar chords a cool beat. Bobby Kimbal's vocals dial up the cheese factor.

5. I like Winkie's hair and attitude as much as the next guy, maybe more. This reminds me a little bit of when Justin Turner had multiple DL stints whatever year that was. Very useful player when available but a big swing in team effectiveness when he wasn't. What if an outfielder for the Mets gets dinged up now? Winker won't be there to fill in
6. I dunno what the latest is on this guy's back injury but I have little patience for role players too unhealthy to answer the bell. I get it when a pitcher gets hurt and to an extent when an everyday guy goes down. But if you're a guy whose job it is to fill in when other guys are out, and you're out, you're worthless. Mad at Winker and weak body
7. =Gwreck post_id=197751 time=1752180201 user_id=56] No disagreement that today's game was a teamwide failure of offense. No matter how good Soto, Lindor, and Alonso are, they too will have some bad games. But we must also acknowledge the reality that the Mets are getting no meaningful offense from catcher, third base, and wherever McNeil's not playing (second/left).

12. The most amazin stat is he's the 30th guy to come out of the bullpen this year

18. lol. We should trade for Zach Rock. That guy rocks.
19. They could challenge trade Taylor for Mullins--if we throw in Megill and a shitty reliever
20. South Jersey. According to one article his Mom was a big Phillies fan and took Zac and his brother to lots of Phils games. Oh I should have read the next graf: [bLOCKQUOTE]Stacey was born in Philadelphia and raised in South Jersey. She grew up going to Veterans Stadium and taking her baseball-crazed boys to Citizens Bank Park. Somehow, Zachary ended up a St. Louis Cardinals fan (they were consistently good!), but even when they were in town and he rooted for the Red Birds, Stacey still cheered for the Phillies.[/bLOCKQUOTE] So this kid's fucked up. He does have an all-star start under his belt.
21. I'm going to start a rumor that the Mets are hot and heavy after Zac Gallen of the Dbacks. Free agent to be, got off to a very poor start this year but turned it around in his last few performances. I would also like to share these rumours
22. Wasn't a good weekend for Antoine Richardson. He definitely should have been telling Lindor to slide. Definitely the Miller Lite Turning Point of the Game.
