  1. Hello, Newman https://twinsdaily.com/uploads/monthly_2021_05/7425d665e8882a303207ced2923ac72f.jpg.7f50cf5acfb2f6f9198e1ba93644b8f4.jpg>
  2. "Get your votes in by first pitch," sez the instructions. First pitch ain't happened yet. CHANGE YOUR VOTES. I'll allow it
  3. =kcmets post_id=88572 time=1649356283 user_id=53] Is MLB.TV on streaming services like Prime billed monthly? I haven't renewed Extra Innings yet on Verizon because I don't think it's fair they charge for the whole season up front. More importantly, I'm not sure we're keeping Verizon through September and I don't want to get into a thing with them looking to get a refund down the road.
  4. I know everyone hates these exclusive streaming games but it's a good way to educate/inform the non-Met world about the Mets. These games are available anywhere, so like Asia and the UK. My understanding is the apple games are free--for now at least. I don't have peacock and prolly wouldn't get it but it's only a few games and early morning ain't bad

  6. A real Brodie-Era kinda Met
  7. Edgy is our winner based on last year when an all-time record of 159 salamis were hit. I was misled by a press release from dairy queen which said 100 based on a projected charity donation it is making to the children's miracle network
  8. I've always thought McCarver was so good at sharing what he knew that at some point, everybody learned it and he became less interesting. I also think that shameful incident with Deion Sanders sorta wounded him more than we really knew
  9. One guess each, closest to the the pin wins: About how many Grand Slam home runs will MLB players produce over the course of a season?

  12. Just an ugly one-handed swing. Not a bad player overall and obviously bowing out at the right moment. Don;t ban the shift. Eventually the pendulum will swing back

  19. I was always frustrated by Eddie C because he was just too "normal" to be a sports radio personality. My memories of him are absorbing all kinds of wildly misinformed questions from Francessa and answering them all--no matter how stupid-- with "You might be right about that, Mike..." or "You could have a point there..." or "That could certainly be the case..." I thought he good presence otherwise
  20. He's pretty much Asdrubal Cabrera if you switch their slugging and OBP figures. That's a pretty good palooka to have on your side. 260/340/440 17 bombs, 85 ribbies, 31 doubles, 3 triples
  21. I think my having met his Toyota dealer last year was a sign. 110 RBIs, 17 home runs, 8 triples.. 275/335/435
  22. Yeah I see him hovering between 290 and 250 and winding up at 268/320/410 7 homers, 20 doubles
  23. Excellent sock game. Made batters uncomfortable. Don't like that he's a yank
