1. 4 is Clint Hurdle
2. 3 must be Mackey Sasser
3. Get popped for steroids maybe. If not, 30-90-268/330-470
4. 4 is Carter
5. 32 Tom Grieve-Argenis Reyes-Granderson Curtis Wilkerson-Ted Martinez- Jeff Kent Oddibe McDowell- Jose Reyes- Strawberry
6. Reports say Astros are taking about Snell.
7. That's right. It's about his health. He's not healthy this spring. Not a good sign.
8. Frayed Knot and I visited Lost Nation, Iowa (not much to it) and met a woman who knew McAndrew
9. Yeah if nothing else he is reliable 43-115-.247
10. I know you can always buy pitchers but given the budget, we need to develop a few of our own soon. Christian Scott apparently is going to be good. I like Butto as a backend guy, but not sure about anyone else on the way. Anyway =you take the best they offer but it would be good to get a stud pitcher. I didn't mean that post above about his big ass and bald head.
11. I'm on board with shipping his fat ass and balding head out of town.
12. The Butt Man pitching today. Don't sleep on him
13. I worry he performed a little over his head last year and was due for a letdown anyway. But getting hurt in spring training is an invitation to a shitty year, seen it way too often. Sorry Kodai. Prove me wrong. Just don't go 4-9, 4.57 in 19 appearances between dl stints.
14. This was me too. Good Xmas movie
15. Joe Suozzi wins it with a sac fly, I think. It's hard to tell with Gelbs calling the action.
16. Mets were 1 out away but coughed up 4 to tie it. Now they've loaded em up in the bottom of the 9th. No outs
17. Maybe you get Martinez and if the team sucks balls as much as they might, you sell him to a contender in July, collecting some juicy prospects. Davis I liked while he was around but played his way into the "OK we'll trade him for Darin Ruf, as long as we also throw in a promising young pitcher" category. I'd be surprised given what they've signaled this year they'd want either of the JDs. Let the Baty/Vientos duo stand up or not
18. 4. most total bases in one game, guessing 19
19. I think the Giants didn't like how Davis reacted to getting his job stolen from him.
20. 5. 6 hits in a game
21. Tigers look like their NOBs are bigger than ours. If you're just tuning in you missed Wilmer Flores' brother Wilmer Flores pitch. Gelbs is awful at the mic. Gave the wrong score as the inning ended twice
22. I know we've discussed John Hughes before but saw this one again recently. It's not as funny as some of his flicks but better than most too. Fun facts: --Director Howard Duetsch married Lea Thompson --Eric Stolz plays the lead character, not Andrew McCarthy --Mary Stuart Masterson and I were born only a few weeks apart, which will give me something to talk about with her. --The villian was way over the top --Molly Ringwald turned down the opportunity to play Watts leading to a deterioration in her relationship with Hughes --Movie referenced the Rolling Stones with characters named Watts, Keith and Amanda Jones
23. We watched this too. My only complaint was that they told you up front they'd be separated and come back together. Poor dude.
