Heilman only threw 18 pitches. 1 more?
  2. Gwreck
Yeah, but like Dickshot said, we'll totally go 6-8 against their pen. Aaron = awesome.

Bryan Hoch's original MetsOnline Forum (MoFo) was threatened by MLB's lawyers and Bryan simply chose not to fight it. I wasn't a poster at the MoFo but was a fan of the old Metsonline.net. The irony is that after being threated by the lawyers, Bryan would eventually go on to be hired and work for Mets.com. After Marty Noble he writes a lot of stuff for the site.

    Shit.

Jose looking real good at the plate so far. 2 Walks in great ABs and the Hit. Time to run now!

    Very nice inning for Aaron.

This would be a good time to maybe think about a double-steal...

Heilman throwing in the pen...he'll be in next inning.

I guess she's not dating Zito anymore? Or....maybe...

Can't get 'em it. Here's hoping they let Johnson bat so we get another crack at him. (Never though I'd advocate for facing Randy Johnson an extra inning)
  13. Gwreck
...and he steals the base anyway. Suck it Randy.

The Yankees have *four* former managers as coaches. Is that a record?
  15. Gwreck
Reading the tea leaves it sounds like we could well have Soler and maybe Heilman starting soon. Thank god.
  16. Gwreck
Oliver should be good for 3 innings, probably. Let's go Darren.

    NADY!!!!

Howie Rose not-so-subtly suggesting that Randy might've pitched a fit and demanded a new catcher. (Apparently he and Posada have a history).

Hopefully Gonzalez can get a few more outs this time through the order.

    IT'S OUTTA HERE!

Not sure I can remember a time when Jose took the first 5 pitches of an at-bat. Rally time starts now.

It was a great KTE. Only reason I was able to scoop you on the lineups (unintentionally, sorry 'bout that) was because I got a call from Shea and had them read me the lineup off the scoreboard.

I think his name is Mitch Jones. OF. 6-20-.239 (815 OPS), 41 K in 134 AB at Columbus. If he plays it'll be his ML-debut.
