I edited the title (to just "How the Rotation Sets Up") now that this has developed into an all-purpose sort of thread.

Excellent KTE. I could see Delgado (and Floyd) geting some good knocks against Batista and his .315 AVG against, or Vargas as well. I like the Mon/Tue matchups for the Mets to win, flip a coin on Wednesday. Duaner Sanchez is also an x-DBack, having beeing initially signed just 2 days after his 17th birthday by Arizona and brought up in their farm system (only 3.2 major league innings with Arizona, though).

Box Score Same score, different game. This was the Sunday afternoon game. Remember to vote for "O. Hernandez"

Bell stays in, hitting for himself, to pitch a 3rd inning. Interesting.

Of course, having Beltran swing 3-0 with Delgado and Wright up next...that puzzles me. But it does result in:

I'd rather that El Duque not have any more 39-pitch innings.

Ha. The giveaway on Jewish Heritage Day in Miami is, naturally, Mike Jacobs t-shirts.

Another 1-2-3 for Glavine. Looks fantastic today, helped only perhaps by a slightly generous strike zone.

    Nice, Ramon.

I guess these guys have gotta rest everyone once in a while. Only side benefit is that we have a great set of pinch hitters if need be (Floyd, Delgado, Lo Duca).

Sorry, didn't mean to show you up....I was literally in the process of starting the IGT with lineups when I saw you had just done it...

Martinez 4 Edit: Second thoughts, was undervaluing the start. Can't give him 5, which he might've gotten had the Mets won. I guess it's gonna be 4.

Box Score Don't forget: vote for "Martinez" not "Pedro"
