Thank you. Kudos to bmfc1 for evolving the show as it approached the round number.

I now believe the Squirrel prowled Shea.

Boyce Cedric Mullins will begin challenging for a spot soon.

Started the Mark Canha Game (lit up in his MLB debut) and Doc’s number retirement game (9 Ks in 6 IP). Inevitably the guy I’d forget was in the pen.

Janzen Blade Tidwell. The middle-first club is really having a “Memories of” moment.

1,280. Gregory Soto

Bill Denehy, our 1967 pitcher whose name endures among Mets fans thanks to who he shared a rookie card with (Tom Seaver) and the manager he helped bring back in trade (Gil Hodges), died on June 27 at the age of 79. His friend Jeff Kaliman remembers him in the IBWAA newsletter.

Lindor's All-Star card is a keeper. Soto's 1st monthly award is a milestone. Love him in 1970 motif.

I stand Poche-corrected.

Rico leaves the org with 2 Met appearances, or twice as many as Jose Ureña, Kevin Herget, Tyler Zuber, and Zach Pop (FA) each made. Jonathan Pintaro, returned to Syracuse, also has one and only one game as a Met in all.

That's Joshua Rico Garcia, yet another middle-namer. Two perfectly good outings gets a guy a DFA.

Charles Sidney Fernandez.

John Tyler Zuber (all the best pitchers lead with their middle namrs) regularly tweeted very supportive messages -- "Pete Alonso is a dawg!" -- about his would-be MLB teammates while marooned in Syracuse. I thought that was good form.

The man who displaced Don Zimmer at the back of the Met alphabet has been claimed off waivers by the Marlins. Or Marlinz.

A thousand times yes on Cobra. Much of the material on Parker's post-Reds career as mentor to the next generation had to be cut for space, but fortunately lives on via mlbbro.com in three parts.
