  2. A Boy Named Seo wrote: Yup, it's an evening to get out in the garden Sorry, no games at The Garden tonight either, Knicks/Rangers suck!
  3. love the daily news cover.
  4. More leadoff walks!
  5. Damn. Cespedes cant catch a break
  6. Why no Nimmo for Lobaton here?? Blow it open!!

  8. Woah! Questionable overturn there. I would have called him safe live but that's not the kind of thing we need to overturn, could have gone either way
  9. The Mets booth is starting to get to me with their dinosaur logic. They dont like Flores (over Lagares) to lead off the inning because he isn't fast? Who gives a fuck - Flores owns lefties and this was a situation where the opposing manager couldn't summon a righty in response. Great choice Calloway! Shut up Keith!
  10. Gwreck wrote: We could’ve had Walker over Reyes, though. We can still have Cecchini, Guillorme, or Kelly over Reyes. I'll take any of them.
  11. Lagares hacking at the first pitch a bit too eagerly there
  12. keep it moving! come on Cespedes, end your sorry slump now!
  13. Keith thought they might bring in a righty to face Rosario there - why? So the Mets could counter Conforto there? That would be dumb for the Nats
  14. Reyes still drawing the "jose" chants at 0-16 on the year He looks LOST
  15. MFS62 wrote: He has a bad back which can "stiffen up" (is there such a word?) in the cold. They should at least wait until they see how he plays when the weather warms up before they make a decision. Later If Smith's play forces the issue for another week or two I'd just make the swap already.
  16. Edgy MD wrote: Cabrera, in my office. bench him tomorrow. that was an absurd baserunning mistake, no excuse. i dont care if the ball bounced 30 feet away, it better be in the fucking stands for you to try and advance there
  17. I had forgotten there was going to be actual losing at some point this season.
  18. Bullpen, coming down to earth.
  19. Bryce Harper is just ready to fuck the Mets on demand
  20. would have really liked to SCORE there, but chasing the starter in the 5th inning of game 1 of a 3 games series has merit too.
  21. My enthusiasm for this waned when I turned it on and remembered I would need to listen to Arod. Oh well, lets go Bartolo!
  22. John Cougar Lunchbucket wrote: Anyone who'd give up Zimmo for a fucking catcher is out of their mind Whats the position have to do with it? If the Yankees call with Gary Sanchez you can sign me up.
  23. Centerfield wrote: I come out on the other side. I think framing is a skill and have no problem with one catcher being better at it than another. Certainly at lower levels, where the quality of pitching, catching and umpiring is not as high, framing is a big factor. It is certainly a skill and it should certainly be taken advantage of for as long as it is helpful to the team winning. However, the league should take action to make this skill less important by increasing the accuracy of balls and strikes through electronic monitoring of the strike zone, because a more consistently called game is a good thing. being good at framing pitches is pretty much the same thing as being good at "flopping" (overemphasizing contact with your body language to draw a foul call) in the NBA.
  24. the Save is stupid too. so is the individual pitcher Win.
