If an ump calls a framed pitch a strike, he's not doing his job, the strike zone is where the ball crosses the plate. c) People who buy pitch framing as an art or even worthy grading one catcher over another's skills of ridiculous attempts at deception continually confounds me. I'll revisit in 2021.

    Yes, the Mets have 3 C's as Ali Sanchez is on the roster. Even if you moved Ramos to C and "lost" the DH you could still PH for the P. Anything would have been preferable to having Nido bat there (Luis will cite the hard groundball he hit earlier in the game). hard groundballs make great doubleplays, or singles past Derek Jeter

    The upside here is that "clutch" is a myth and numbers with runners on base should revert to the mean. So if our on base skills are real, eventually we will be scoring at a comensurate rate
