    I can't believe the same people are whining about fans booing are now also complaining about "M-V-P" chants for David Wright... If you want the fans to sit quietly in their seats go watch a damn tennis match.

    Fantasy baseball is a funny game sometimes, i drafted a team (in an auction league) that i thought was short on power but full of steals... well i've got 2 steals and 14 homers so far

    Its not a race thing at all for me, I simply hate Barry Bonds. If Ken Griffey Jr. had never gotten hurt with Cincinatti and was now chasing Ruth/Aaron i'd be happily rooting for him.

    in game 2 of a ay-night double header t he Astros won 8-0, but Oswalt was allowed to go 8.1 innings and throw 122 pitches. my question is why would you ever let a guy take the mound in the 9th with that big a lead and having thrown that many pitches?

    Beltran 2 Wright 2 Floyd 2 Delgado 2 Oliver 1 Reyes .5 Woodward .5 nothing for zambrano who was spotted a pretty big lead early and didnt pitch great. as is my custom in blowouts more points for early production than for tacking more on at the end.

    but this is all about relative contributions and for that game the pitrcher may deserve a 10. if you were grading each player on a 1-10 scale for each game then everyone else might get 2's or 3's based on something they did but as it is theres only 10 pts to distribute and i think an artificial cap on who they can be given to is biased against starting pitchers.

    Guillen hits one deep but not out of the park. I hope Pedro faces him in the 7th with 2 out when he's about to leave anyway and just drills him.

    another great game. i just wanted to point out (and didnt want to start a thread) that the yankees are currently losing and that in Chicago pitcher Branson Arroyo has his 2nd homer in as many starts for the Reds.

    If a player is caught using a substance that is banned in baseball OR illegal in the United States at the time he took it I think an asterik should go next to any of his records. In this context when i say caught i mean actually caught, not suspected. There would need to be a positive test for the substance, a receipt labelled "equine steroids" in his drawer, etc. Absent actually gettig caught nothing official should be done to the records. The fans will know who they suspect of what and that is enough.
