Piniero is on my slumping roto-team, he's pretty much gauranteed not to get me a much needed W tonight. Of course, my ERA is a lost cause so if he wants to strike out 10 and allow and equal number of runs that will help too.

so an NL west team, lets say the padres, can beat ARZ on monday and then lose the division to COL on tuesday, then beat PHI and and ARZ on weds and thurs day and then head to Shea for game 1 completely spent while the Mets have been napping for 4 days? sign me up for that one.

maybe Pedro should just try not to leave at all tonight. can the starters stop going 4 1/3 or 5 2/3 every night?

you should give up, because the pitxching is clearly the problem, telling the offense "hey guys, your pitchers suck so i expect you to score 10 runs a game" isnt fair.

For a team out of contention, the Reds sure have a quick hook... Tom Shearn was yanked after only 38 pitches in the first inning after allowing 4 runs on 2 homers (to Berkman and Lee), a double, an infield single, and 2 walks.
