  1. worst play ever, it began the yankee dynasty
  2. Jerry Seinfeld is an animated bee.
  3. which means i'm sure they know who it is.

  5. Edgy DC wrote: You don't know that they're not being sued, nor do you know how wealthy they are. well i know it isn't mentioned in the article and it wouldn't have been hard to add a single line about it if the other person was in fact mentioned in the suit.
  6. 25k is alot of money when you consider that this is mostly the fault of the person who sent the message, of course they're not being sued because they're not a deep pocket. the cardinals would probably be wise to just settle for PR reasons anyway.
  7. i've already written to baseball reference for clarification
  8. the identity of the aussie is a mystery?
  9. who is the guy in the aussie uniform? why two pictures of Thorn?
  10. ]yeah, i was confused by UMDB which has the following incorrect data: Quote: Aaron Shawn Estes Born: February 18, 1973 at San Francisco, Cal. Throws: Right Bats: Left Height: 6.02 Weight: 195 i saw "right left" and since i knew he threw lefty i assumed he batted righty without looking too closely to see that they had both wrong (i assumed they were just reversed) baseball reference lists him as a switch hitter but then when i click "splits" it shows 582 plate appearences as a righty (440 vs. righties and 142 vs. lefties) which is his correct total. so i'm not sure what to think. so which is it? can anyone confirm a shawn estes left-handed at-bat?

  12. i'm glad if its a different body because the old one sucked
  13. sweet! here we go... (the last picture is Shawn Estes, i couldnt find one where his name was clearly visible that was also a relatively small picture)
  14. ]The Veterans Committee has yet to elect anyone since the new system was developed, so I'm not optimistic that makes me very optimistic actually. there are players who don't really belong in the hall, and i hold the veterans committee responsible for more than their fair share of them.
  15. Gwreck wrote: Apparently I missed the rules here somewhere. Feel free to ignore mine. when you get the previous one right its your turn. i've had one sitting around for days because i'm never going to answer one correctly. sadly i would have gotten yancy's if i'd seen it first since it is easily determined from the limited biographical data on baseball reference and thats my first stop
  16. wtf, dont pull a rogers!
  17. i would certainly offer arb to glavine, a 1 year deal wouldnt be the worst thing to get stuck with and the 2 draft choices are very nice
  18. houston ripped the phils imo
  19. ]I actually don't think this is all that ridiculous. Feliz probably should have won, but he can't hit his way out of a paper bag and Wright's definitely not the first player to get bonus GG points with his bat no, he's not. but it is ridiculous that a guy's hitting should matter even one iota.
  20. they all got dirty alot? they all foolishly slide hands-first?
  21. i fully favor prospects in the bullpen, particularly older prospects like humber and pelfrey who would be dominating younger competition in the minors, what do they have left to learn there anyway?
  22. they all led the club in runs? lets try to do 1 at a time hahn, this could get chaotic otherwise
  23. get ready to sue when they plagiaruze off of you tommorow FK
  24. there was an Arizona governor named Castro at some point, and there have been plenty of politicians named Kent though none in the cabinet to my knowledge.
