I don't have a lot Met autographs, maybe a half dozen. I dug this out since Bud came up. It means a lot to me (even more than my Seaver) because I met Bud at a signing at The Danbury Mall waiting for some suit pants to be hemmed to wear to my Mom's funeral the next day. http://www.kcmets.com/CPF/budauto.png>
Cohen has a shiny new toy, his tweets and his wife's are fun. Jeffie thought he was a baseball man, I think we'll see over time that Steve will be (and knows that he is) just a baseball fan. The 36th richest fan on the planet as reported above.
I'm as big a fan of Seaver's legacy as anyone reading this, but everything is better with bacon. And it's wild bacon, which I'm sure is better than Oscar Mayer.
His bb-ref page has him at 285 lbs so I'm guessing he's around 310 lol... I've (we've) always thought he'd be a good coach, would love to have TBS back on in some coaching capacity.
Right, and sorry I thought this was this morning's news but see you mentioned it yesterday in the Heck thread. He was born in NY, wonder if he grew up a Mets fan. NYT article briefly mentions Mets and Phillies and stuff. Have to go back and search.
