  1. So who pitches on Sunday? Severino and Manaea will both be on full rest, as will Senga. I'd go with Manaea.
  2. I just heard Howie's call replayed on SNY. I loved "HE MAY HAVE OUTDONE HIMSELF!"

  4. I'm rooting for the Dodgers tonight because I don't want our next opponent to have the extra couple of days of rest.
  5. Nimmo is giving a really nice interview with Gelbs on SNY right now.
  6. He's not going to be the MVP. The fans should be chanting "Schaefer Mets Player of the Year!"
  7. =metirish post_id=175154 time=1728521203 user_id=72] Nice to relax now for a few days
  8. Yes, let's have no stress or tension here.
  9. I told myself I would exhale a little if they got past Turner and Harper.
  10. =ashie62 post_id=175097 time=1728518303 user_id=90]Outs?
  11. Let's let Peterson go as long as he can.
  12. I was thinking that I should turn off the kitchen light while Lindor was batting. I'm glad I didn't.
  13. Lefty Specialist wrote: YOU MUST SCORE HERE. Absolutely.
  14. I think he's saying that today is a day that the Mets can advance to the LCS. We don't get many days like that.
  15. I'm not so sure about that. These players are human beings and it's entirely possible that under certain pressure situations they may not be at their best. Did Bill Bucker fumble that grounder just as he would have in a game in May, or was he wanting TOO much to field it and end the inning? We'll never know for sure, but I don't; think we can dismiss the possibility.
  16. This was the least stressful game of the postseason so far, but yeah, that doesn't mean there wasn't tension. I hope the Mets jump out to a big lead tonight and that the Phillies never threaten. We can use a game like that.
  17. =Centerfield post_id=174735 time=1728415763 user_id=65] It's a funny thing to know that from 5 p.m to about 8, 8:15, I'll be feeling nothing but pure stress, and following that I'll either be elated or despondent and nothing in between.
