  4. Somebody posted something to the UMDB today that matches something that I've noticed myself. Doesn't Jason Bay look thin (at least in his face) since his return? He looks almost frail. Or maybe like he's aged a decade or two. I don't know. Anyone else notice this?
  5. Well, if the chances of an organizational sweep are the 1.2961 per cent that you calculated, then over the course of 180 days, it should happen, on average, 2.33298 times.

  7. Nicely done! I'm tempted to get in the car and drive to Petersburg, Indiana just so I can take a photo of the Gil Hodges Bridge.
  8. Voting for Wednesday night's loss to the Nationals, hopefully the last game the Mets will lose this season, will close some time over the weekend, perhaps as early as Saturday morning. Only three votes for this game so far! (Thanks to metfairy and G-Fafif for hanging in there!) Schaefer POTG, 7/25/2012: Nationals 5 Mets 2
  9. Edgin 1.5 Hairston 2.5 Harvey 3.5 Parnell 1 Tejada 0.75 Torres 0.75

  11. Yikes... I can't believe that it was only 20 days ago that the Mets had a .542 winning percentage. (They're now at .480 and project to 78 wins.)

  13. Monday's and Tuesday's losses to Washington will close on Friday morning. Tuesday's game can use a few more votes. Schaefer POTG 7/23/12 - Nationals 8, Mets 2 (10 Innnings) Schaefer POTG 7/24/12 - Nationals 5, Mets 2
  14. I figure that if Harvey starts 13 games and wins all of them, the Mets will finish with a record of 60 and 102.
  15. Does Reyes have a no-trade? Or should he have his bags packed, just in case?
  16. Cedeno 1.25 Dickey 0.3 Valdespin 0.75
  17. Frayed Knot awarded 10.2 points, and his votes were prorated as follows: niese 2.94 parnell 0.98 murphy 2.45 wright 1.57 davis 0.49 nieuwenhuis 0.78 valdespin 0.78
  18. Hefner 3 ERamirez 1 Davis 1
  19. Well, that means that there were more Mariners fans once they got Ichiro, but not that there were none before that.
  20. I gave it four out of five. In the first two movies, I was able to tell (from a few shots) that Chicago was playing the part of Gotham City, but in this movie it was very obviously New York. I was surprised that they allowed such recognizable New York landmarks like the Chrysler Building, the Empire State Building, the Brooklyn Bridge, etc. to be seen on screen. (It was kind of like the 1970's Superman movie, where Metropolis had the Statue of Liberty and the New York skyline.) Weird that they did this. (They also added some bridges across the Hudson River from downtown [crossout:3tfmz9jz]Manhattan[/crossout:3tfmz9jz] Gotham.) And why was Bane doing a weak Sean Connery imitation throughout the film?
