I'd rather do that. Part of Kelly Johnson's value is the number of positions he can play. You lose that flexibility if you start him at DH.

I voted deGrom, Syndergaard, Harvey. Sure, deGrom is the ideal Game 7 pitcher, but I'd rather have him get his second start sooner than that, in the hope of making a Game 7 unnecessary. So I'd have those three guys pitch games 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, and 7. I'm starting to have my doubts about Matz in Game 4. (Unless the Mets win the first three games. There's precedent for that!) I don't doubt Matz's talent, or his future potential, but I'm not all that certain about his present. Maybe Colon would be a better choice for Game 4.
