  4. It's certainly a rare thing to have somebody pass Tom Seaver on an all-time Mets list.
  5. Others that came up in my SQL results that tickled my memory: Juan Berenguer's debut in 1978, because I was there and was excited at seeing a new star pitcher debut. (Oh well.) And Tim Leary, of course. I remember watching the first inning at my aunt's house, but then got called away for meal time, and when I got back to the TV not long after, he was out of the game! There was no Internet to run to, so I had to wait for the broadcasters to revisit the topic.
  6. Voting for Tuesday night's 11-inning walkoff win over the Padres will close on Friday morning. Ten voters so far, which means that at least two of the people who voted the Marlins sweep haven't yet voted on this game. I'm not going to try to figure out who's missing, but YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE! Schaefer POTG 6/8/10 - Mets 2, Padres 1
  7. Yesterday wasn't a doubleheader. If it hadn't been a rainout, maybe Barajas would have started both Wednesday's and Thursday's games.
  8. I'd love to see Ike Davis win the Rookie of the Year award, but it's a tough field and the odds are against him. I'm content, though, to have a rookie player who's performing well and establishing himself.
  9. 29 -- 872 -- Hamilton Bennett -- LHP -- Tennessee Wesleyan CC, Tenn I just found out that my brother-in-law knows this kid! He's his neighbor!

  17. So many new names! This is kinda like the first day in a new school.
  18. Hey, Schaefer voters! For the first time in 2010, the Mets have two players with the same surname. Please remember to vote for either PFeliciano or JFeliciano. Thanks.

  21. If in fact the Mets sign him, then we'll know for sure, without a doubt, that he's never had PED's. Because that's how it works!
  22. Just imagine where this thread will go once Fman99 chimes in.
  23. They should get Darryl to play himself. Hopefully he's better at motivating Dana than he was Jeff Francoeur and Jason Bay.

Some of his more famous subjects were Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks, the Montana cities of Butte and Missoula, many mining views, flood views, rounding up buffaloes, Morrison Caves, Indians, etc. Forsyth was also an agent for Underwood and Underwood from 1885-1923 and then the Keystone View Company from 1923-1947.
