But we certainly saw the opposite effect back when Beltran was with Houston his first time around and jacked his price up with post-season heroics, and even Boston seemed to ignore their long running Sabermetric tendencies by buying into PabloSandoval's clutchness ability (and boy did they buy into it!!)
