I'm tempted to take the under just for shits and giggles, but that's probably about right. Have to figure that at least seven are probably locks: Familia, Harvey, deGrom, Ces, Thor, Matz, Conforto, for either long-term commitment or low trade value or both.

I don't think Harvey is a lock.

I'm not sure Conforto will be fully healed by the end of the 2018 season. Once the severity of his injury was determined, IIRC the Doctors said recovery could take longer than one year. Of course, once they opened him up, they may have seen it wasn't as bad as they thought. But I'm thinking we'll see him again in 2019.

I think Conforto will play in 2018. In September, when he had his surgery, the doctors estimated that he could resume baseball activities in six months, which would be March. Of course, there's always the possibility of setbacks, but I don't think it's unreasonable to at least hope that he'll be playing in the big leagues before the end of May. Expecting him to miss the entire season seems a bit extreme at this point.

I'm just kind of surprised Harvey made the list at all. Jacob Rhame out-WARred him in 2017, for Pete Flynn's sake. Neil Ramirez out-WARred him!

I would have put Flores and Rosario on there and bumped Harvey and Wright. (Sorry David!)
