You know how the league is trying to save time by having the manager hold up four fingers to call for the intentional walk?

Terry should just walk away from the mound after making a pitching change and hold up five fingers -- and have the umpire just go ahead and add five runs on the scoreboard. You know it's going to happen, and it just eliminates more chances for someone else to get hurt.

I just realized that, before the start of yesterday's action, the Mets had a 7.5 game lead over the Phillies with 17 games remaining.
