Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 Looks more demented than funny to me. But then again I never caught a HR ball. I have no idea what my face would look like if I did.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 It's a minor miracle we're not losing by 11 or 12 right now.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 Minus a couple of good defensive grabs and benevolent umpire calls and yeah, 11 or 12 sounds about right.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 Keep throwing it crazy, Strop. Don't want to make Wilson look bad.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 d'Arnaud on double deck is the tying run.Nimmo, Plawecki, Cecchini, and Nido remain on the bench.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 Now Laggy is the tying run on double deck with two away. Would you pinch-hit Nimmo if that situation comes around?

Mets were losing, the fans were filing out. Hickman hit one off the corner of the auxiliary scoreboard that hung on the facade of the second deck near the left field foul pole and it caromed into the lower deck right at me. I was so surprised that I dropped it, then just had to bend down a pick it up. There was nobody else around other than the friend who had gone to the game with me. OK, so it wasn't a clean catch. I still don't know how my face looked, but it was probably a look of surprise.Later
