G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 Next on Flex and the Citi:As the Mets attempt to go "four" it, Samantha is determined to get it on, Charlotte lets her insecurities get the best of her, Miranda tries to take a little time for herself away from the office, and Carrie discovers that Chris is miffed because with Robert back in town, Terry has chosen to spend Saturday night with Rafael. What's worse, Chris will be left alone for the weekend because Terry is going with Jake on Sunday. Meanwhile, across the hall, Homer will try not to give up too many homers, but not if Jose and his crowd have anything to say about it.It's not TV. It's SNY on PIX.

Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 Nimmo batting cleanup again. I'll take 'Words I Never thought I'd Type' for $200, Alex.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 Innocent two-out walks that turn into go-ahead two-out rallies are the shizzle.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 Did the Mets put Rosario on the shelf?
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 No, he's still day-to-day.
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 I think they said last night he's been taking some swings but throwing isstill a problem -- but who the heck can keep up with who's hurt, not, almostback, gone for season, gone forever and due back soon....
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 So he's on the shelf but it's one of the lower shelves where we can still get him down and use him without having to get out the ladder and stuff.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 And we're through the fifth with the lead.Does Montero take his turn at bat?
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 Camera just caught deGrom dipping. Didn't know he had the habit.

Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 I WW'd, why was deGrom batting? It's September, put a few guys on the benchif need be. What if he breaks his leg running to first? (which in 2017, doesn't seemthat crazy a notion?)
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 Leading to a two-run single! All those infield plays by the Reds, and their pitchers just wouldn't throw strikes. Finally they groove one.
Guest 41Forever Guests Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 Nimmo got robbed on that one. Nice play!
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 Yeah, and Votto is just great.
Guest 41Forever Guests Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 Wow, and Jose just got robbed by Votto!
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 That was unexpected! Nice game for the Flexless Mets

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 Four in a row and five of six.Might have been more encouraging to see earlier, but I'll take it.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 The Mets won't lose 100 games this year!
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 It's the little things sometimes.
batmagadanleadoff Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 It's too bad they might not lose 100 games. The Mets can't do anything right this season. When they're supposed to win, they lose. And now that it's in their best long term interest to lose every single remaining game, they're off on a winning streak, playing some of their best ball of the year.So they'll win 70 games instead of picking 4th, or 5th in next year's tremendously loaded draft. Whoop dee doo.
