Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 It's good to see the KCMets icons active again. Our good luck charm!
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2017 Author Posted June 22, 2017 They're trying to show me up by showing they care.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 Oh, I'll watch. But while finding a reason to root for the playoffs may be an optimistic, good-for-the-soul call... it certainly isn't an objectively good one.I mean, I'll be happily wrong, but... not only are we injury-ravaged, but the ONE thing that was our supposed strength is actually the thing that's been worst for us... and doesn't promise to get much better. I'm a thin-principled-edge away from turning into the skid and rooting for a collapse/high draft pick.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 Whoa it's a first inning tater... by a Met this time! GRURTIS CANDERSON KABOOM
Guest 41Forever Guests Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 Curtis cares! Kaboom. Wilmer cares, but, apparently, half as much as Curtis.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 There we go.I hate to say I missed Curtis from the lineup after I've been lobbying for his benching, but I missed his ass last night.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 Hey, Ann Coulter is back behind home plate. She disappeared after the third inning last night.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 Anytime Face Buttley makes an out, that's a good thing.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 I'm just looking for going 1.000 tonight.OE: Actually I just aim for a scoreless first.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 Mets, stop chasing high junk off of this guy.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2017 Author Posted June 22, 2017 Really right? It's like 86 mph.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 Nice move by Buttley. Never knew why more infielders don't try that move.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 It could be an incredible simulation. The Mets infield has not been an incredible simulation of a big league infield.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 I see that ground balls remain a 50/50 proposition for this team.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 Good thing there were runners on 1st & 2nd there so TJ didn't have to throw across the diamond. The inning would probably still be going if he did.

Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 Cheech. Buddy. Two strikes. Down the middle.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 Already 0-8 w/RiSP -- 6 of them KsThat's tough to pull off in just 4 innings.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 2nd run is earned (1st one wasn't) but both LAD runs were built upon errors.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 Who the fuck cares anymore
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2017 Author Posted June 22, 2017 Well it was nice to lead for a change. I'm off to bed. 2017 sucks BHMC.
