Claimed by the Blue Jays, Twitter reports.

I'll remember him for representing Team Israel in the WBC - who knew he was Jewish?

Best of luck north of the border Ty!

Sad, soulful eyes. Human-proportioned body. Funny as heck on social media.

Great comic spokesman for the lousy lot of minor leaguers. This'll be his second tour of duty with Toronto.

First thing I thought of was his remark that he usually plays for Bird teams, but actually turns out he'd been with Toronto org previously (also O's and Cards). I guess that's all the birds.

I wanna say he had 1 or 2 really big RBIs last year but I don't actually remember them. Anyway, he took his walks, played third or left or wherever, switch hit and stuff. Put aside No. 55 when Kelly Johnson came back.

I rarely say this about the Ty Kellys of the world when they are plucked in these kinds of transactions, but NOOOOO!!!

OK, a little strong, but I grew really fond of this guy in the baseball sense. A hustler who got better as 2016 progressed. A 25th man who had the potential to become a 24th, maybe a 23rd man, depending on how you catalogue your excess relievers.

Ty was the most recent link in the Hot Rod Kanehl-Teddy Martinez-Bob Bailor-Super Joe McEwing-Chris Woodward and whoever I'm leaving out chain. Could have been had he had a bit more time to forge his utility ways.

I'll miss ya, Tyrus Raymond Kelly, A Genius In Spikes. Go kill the MFYs, or maybe Scranton.

He's got it in the bag. Major leaguers now earn a pension after just 43 days in the bigs.

Kelly has rocked it for 76 days of big league service time. He's shakin' the money tree.

I always thought he should have leaned into it-- there's still time!-- with his walk-up moozak.

I remember that yesterday someone said that at the plate he looked like a deer in the headlights.
