metirish Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2017 Posted April 10, 2017 This booth though , how will we endure another few hours of this ?probability I stay around for it all?, falling
Batty31 Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2017 Posted April 10, 2017 (edited) I've muted it...I'd rather watch with silence. Edited April 10, 2017 by Guest
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2017 Posted April 10, 2017 Two guys thrown out on the bases this inning? Rivera throwing darts tonight. If I'm d'Arnaud I'm nervous. Better hit, brah.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2017 Posted April 10, 2017 And we have to deal with this crap again in two weeks.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2017 Posted April 10, 2017 Look at it this way: our quota of Sunday Night games will be largely spent before April is even over.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2017 Posted April 10, 2017 Holy fuck, these announcers. I get that we're spoiled because GKR are the best, but, shit. Shut up, dudes.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2017 Posted April 10, 2017 Omigod. They're doing the Mr Met Twitter fight. With Mr. Met.Just kill me now.
Guest 41Forever Guests Posted April 10, 2017 Posted April 10, 2017 The stuff with Mr. Met was painful.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2017 Posted April 10, 2017 Braden was interviewing him.Mr. Mets does not speak Dallas.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2017 Posted April 10, 2017 Ravech asks the booth why Thor threw that pitch , silence and then Dallas Braden stumbles over his answer, a good booth can add to a viewing experience but this booth is really taking the piss
Guest cooby Guests Posted April 10, 2017 Posted April 10, 2017 Makes you miss joe Morgan and that other guy.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2017 Posted April 10, 2017 Heavens to Mergatroid. "Cespedes with the lime-green sleeve".Do these people ever watch baseball?
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2017 Posted April 10, 2017 Nice of them to go to full screen once Bruce's HR was halfway to the OF seats. I tend to think that watching a HR is more important that seeing a guy take off his batting gloves, but apparently opinions differ on that topic.
Guest themetfairy Guests Posted April 10, 2017 Posted April 10, 2017 Home run calls are always better en espanol.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2017 Posted April 10, 2017 kaBOOM wise, for Bruce, I got nothin. I thought making one was a waste of time. I'll have to correct that.I'll cover it with one of my very first kaBOOMs. This is easily over 10 yrs old now. Maybe 15.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 10, 2017 Author Posted April 10, 2017 Glad to see Bruce and Conforto entering into a healthy competition."Dietrich playing on the outfield grass, but barely. I mean ... he's fully dressed, but he's playing his position a little deep." — Howie Rose
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2017 Posted April 10, 2017 Of course I was prepared for a ConfortoBash.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2017 Posted April 10, 2017 That was officially, "a blast".[fimg=500:3m71x5s6]https://pbs.twimg.com/media/C9BEEU3VYAAZn6Y.jpg:large[/fimg:3m71x5s6]

ESPN doesn't think you tune in to watch a ballgame, they think you tune in to watch how they present it. The game, in their mind, is secondary to whatever pre-planned gimmicks and promos they've got up their sleeves. Everything that's on ESPN is about what else is on ESPN.
