The stuff with Mr. Met was painful.

Ravech asks the booth why Thor threw that pitch , silence and then Dallas Braden stumbles over his answer, a good booth can add to a viewing experience but this booth is really taking the piss

BRUCE-kaboom!

Nice of them to go to full screen once Bruce's HR was halfway to the OF seats.
I tend to think that watching a HR is more important that seeing a guy take off his batting gloves, but apparently opinions differ on that topic.

kaBOOM wise, for Bruce, I got nothin. I thought making one was a waste of time. I'll have to correct that.

I'll cover it with one of my very first kaBOOMs. This is easily over 10 yrs old now. Maybe 15.

Do these people ever watch baseball?

Say what you will about Buck and McCarver, but you knew it wasn't the first baseball game they've seen since their last assignment.

Glad to see Bruce and Conforto entering into a healthy competition.

As I've said before, the network is the bigger problem than the announcers themselves. ESPN doesn't think you tune in to watch a ballgame, they think you tune in to watch how they present it.
The game, in their mind, is secondary to whatever pre-planned gimmicks and promos they've got up their sleeves. Everything that's on ESPN is about what else is on ESPN.
