Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 Well, that's your Opening Day lineup right there.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 Matz is getting bullied out by the flagpole, guys, giving up one in the first and four more in the second. The Mets for their part scored three in the first, two on a GranderBOOM!, and are rallying here in the second, with Curtis again plating a run with a bases-loaded groundout.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 A Neil Walker double puts the Mets up 6-5. It's a SLUGFEST, people!
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 Recently returned Jeurys Familia collaborates with the Mets' defense to give up three more runs. Fishies up 8-6 as the two teams play sloppy giveaway ball. This is like a spring training game.
Chad ochoseis Old-Timey Member Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 Cousin Brucie socks one to the lemonade stand behind the right field fence. 8-7 FLA.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 After the Fishies tack on one more against Zack Wheeler, Curtis Granderson hits his second two-run homer of the game to tie the affair at 9-9 in the bottom of the sixth. That's still the score through seven.Curtis is sure looking good for the Schaefer PotG, though I guess, in Spring Training, it's Schaefer Lite.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 Falling behind once again after a three-run eighth and a three-run ninth, the Mets trail 15-9 going to the last half frame. The Marlins' Tyler Moore and the Mets' Tyler Moore should have to fight for the rights to the name.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 15-9 actually.Looks like the only pitcher who didn't get hammered today was Blevins and he faced just one hitter. But Matz (5 ER over 4 IP), Familia (3 R, 1 ER, 2/3 IP), Wheeler (4 ER / 4), and Salas (3 ER / 1) ... not so good. But that's what happens when you face a lineup with Stanton & Yelich in it. Oh wait a minute ... they're both in LA still.
