Strange how the Astros have become one of the most foreign teams from a Met fan perspective.

I have to keep fighting this feeling I have that when the team was moved from the NL Central to the AL West that the city of Houston itself had to physically relocate.
I'm not quite sure where this notion in my head thinks it now is except that it's somewhere between its actual location and Seattle.
The Mets travel to Houston for a series late this season so I hope the pilot at least knows where it is and doesn't choose me to be his navigator on that trip.

I mean, they're in the orbit of St. Lucie, so we see them frequently enough in the spring time (this will be the second of seven matchups in Florida), but I feel like know Detroit better. And I feel like I know just almost every team better.

Every good team even moreso.

The team that I don't know is the Padres, and they're in the National League. Other than Will Myers I can't name a current Padre.

That's one more than me. The only Padre I can think of is the fictional Ginny Baker.

Not sure, Gary Apple?

Synderella has gone two, giving up two walks and a hit, striking out one, with his workday looking like it's done.

Even closer now that they just moved into the new place that they're sharing with the Nationals in W Palm Beach

Game breaking open as the Mets have expanded the margin of leading to 4-0. Singles by Walker and Bruce and a double by Doo.

Yup, that's him.

So used to seeing a heavy shift on Dude, but the RF'er was a mile away and then he spiked his "throw" meant for the cut-off man directly into the outfield grass.

Josh Edgin gives up a run in his inning of work, as our lefty bullpenners continue to struggle. That's probably due in part to them not getting matched up as benevolently as they do in the regular season.

Kevin McGowan gave up two more runs in his inning, and his ERA actually went down.
