I love when Greg comes in and is just like COME ON, PEOPLE

2. 1965-66: 3-13 at the plate, 1-6, 5.35 in 32 games. Acquired from the Dodgers in exchange for Dick Smith, and otherwise didn't do anything of note. Even has a boring name.

1. 1967: Sixteen days as a Met in April as a Rule V pick, six games, 12 AB, no hits, 5 Ks. Apparently selling insurance in Corpus Christi these days.
2. 1969: Swingman who went 0-for-12 with 9 Ks, but pitched 63.2 innings with a 2.40 ERA. JACK DiLAURO
3. 1997: 3-12 in a September callup. Taken by the Rays in the expansion draft, but only made it back to the bigs for 13 games with Colorado in 2000. CARLOS MENDOZA
4. 2006: 4-12 with three doubles; appeared in 314 less MLB games than his dad. BRIAN BANNISTER
5. 2007: Serviceable starter for the Padres from 2001-05; started six miserable games as a Met and went 3 for 12. BRIAN LAWRENCE
6. 2008: Outfielder who came up with the Marlins, then ended his short career in June and July going 2-12 in eight games as a Met. CHRIS AGUILA
7. 2011-12: Pitched for 11 teams; 0-12 as a Met. MIGUEL BATISTA

2. 1986: But most fondly remembered for what he brought back. 1-11 at the plate.
3. 1990: Came up as a catcher, but played the last four games of 1990 in left field and went 1-11 with a solo homer in his last MLB AB.

8. 2011: Hit 122 HR in AAA from 2007-11 with five organizations, but only translated that to one HR of Cole Hamels (and two singles) in 11 AB as a Met.

The Dave Justice Trade provided us Tyler Yates who made a few starts. I'll go with him.

Still some oldsters hanging out up here:
2. 1965-66: 3-13 at the plate, 1-6, 5.35 in 32 games.
Came over from the Dodgers, then went back.

And here we go for today:

1. 1963: His only MLB season; was an effective swingman, throwing a CG SHO against the Phillies in August. Got 2 hits in 10 AB.
2. 1966: May 20: Purchased by the New York Mets from the Cincinnati Reds. August 16: Purchased by the Cincinnati Reds from the New York Mets. Got five (!) hits in 10 AB.
3. 1972: 0-10 in his MLB debut; played 617 games after that, for Atlanta, Cincinnati, and Baltimore.
4. 1974: 0-10 in four games. No relation to the current MLB outfielder.
5. 1978-79: 1-10 despite twice making it to a Topps tri-Met rookie card.
6. 1979-80: Bullpen cog who went 0-10 in between AL stints in Detroit and Cleveland.
7. 1984: 1-10 in 17 games, all off the bench as a utility infielder. Came to the Mets in a famous trade.
8. 1999: Pride of City College; went 3-10 as a swingman. Traded for a guy who was then traded away himself two days later.
9. 2006-07: Somehow important enough to get the ball on 1986 Reunion Night. Went 2-10.
10. 2010: Useful, if unimpressive, bullpen piece. Went 4-10 at the plate.
11. 2011-12: 0-3, 6.98 in seven games (six starts), but seemed like he was actually a lot worse. 2-10 at the plate.
