Forgot to mention: was driving through midtown last Sunday afternoon, en route from Jersey to a friend's BBQ in Brooklyn, when we saw Noah S. and the Yankee-cup lady crossing 10th Avenue, directly in front of our car. I pointed them out, YoungerPooper squirmed and blushed, BetterHalfer howled "THOOOOR" out of the car window (she turned; he didn't), and we all verbally high-fived each other for the next five minutes.

Here's the thing (which I will not admit to BH, ever): he's 6'6", with superhero proportions, and is Noah Syndergaard... and I noticed her first. For, like, ten seconds, in fact, before it registered that the gigantic guy next to her was our gigantic guy. She's okay-looking in person, is what I'm saying.

Li'l D is from SoCal (Long Beach) but got married in Tahoe. Nimmo got married in his wifey's hometown of Savannah. It's interesting that he got to keep her after the Mets moved their affiliate to Columbia.
