This, by the way, is the only third-round poll that will not include at least one cover from the Daily News.

SEEDS OF LIFE is one of only two remaining New York Post covers, and, according to Nate Silver, the Post's best hope of winning this competition.

I went with Seeds. I admit that Pinch is a better cover, but I went with the sentimental pick. I don't know how much David has left in him, so any walkoff is appreciated more. Plus I was at that game.

I voted for SEEDS too, mainly for its uniqueness.

It certainly is unique! Very seldom do you run across a sports cover that makes you stop and say "Is he getting sprayed with semen? Oh, sunflower seeds. Yes, that makes more sense..."
